Having overcome many obstacles, I now enjoy being a happy, healthy person who feels optimistic about life. I think this program, guided by Midlife coach, has given me a number of essential habits that fit together like a jigsaw puzzle and work in harmony. However, I would say the biggest breakthrough I've had is overcoming the hold sugar had on my health and my brain! Of course, Friday wine was just another form of sugar. I noticed the other day, while doing my weekly shop, that I picked up lots of healthy items (which is fairly usual for me), but I came away without even looking for or wanting my usual sugar fix. I did have one bad day when I bought some, but when I got home and realized it went into the bin, I knew that was the best place for it. My healthy self understood the damage eating it would do. I'm enjoying being here; the support from my personal coaching is fabulous, and I don’t want it to end!
